SUPPORT CYBT

Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre operates on company members' fees, ticket revenue and fundraisers which covers less than half of our operating expenses so we rely on your donations to help make possible the programs and performances offered by Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre. Our education and outreach programs, the creation of new dance works, and the preservation of time-honored programs all benefit from your donation.

INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT

Individuals may support Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre through donations.

Your donation will help secure the financial viability of Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre and will ensure that we continue to present future generations in our
community with high caliber dance training and performance opportunities.

Individual donors of $50 or more are listed in the Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre Playbills/CDC Program Books and CYBT website.

Donors for the CYBT Scholarship Program for Dancers (Male and Female)

Program Description: A program to provide financial assistance that will allow the opportunity for 10 - 18 year old highly dedicated and seriously committed talented students to avail themselves of a pre-professional program training at the school and company level at Coastal Dance Centre (CYBT's training school) and the CYBT Performance Program. Application and selection is through audition and submission of Parents of Applicants' most recent IRS Tax Returns; prospective scholarship recipients should be recommended for acceptance by the Artistic Director with the approval of the CYBT Board of Directors.

Co-Sponsors for "The Nutcracker" Student Matinee Performance

Grand Strand Area school children who have never had a chance to watch a Ballet are given the opportunity to watch a professionally staged "Nutcracker" production at the Myrtle Beach High School Music and Arts Center. This year, we have expanded our invitation to the Student Matinee performance to schools from Florence, Brunswick, Darlington, Lee, Dillon, Marion, Williamsburg, Marlboro, and Charleston counties.
