The CYBT Volunteer Guild and Parent Involvement The strong collaboration between the CYBT Board of Directors, Faculty and Staff and the CYBT Volunteer Guild has helped pave the way for the growth and success that CYBT is now experiencing. Our CYBT members are privileged to participate in our company productions and outreach /community performances. One of the reasons that CYBT is able to do this is because of the help of many volunteer parents. Parent / Volunteer Opportunities We know that everyone is busy and we all have tasks or jobs to attend to as we go through our everyday life. What we ask is that each parent may please find a way to contribute in whichever fits their time, interests and expertise. This could include: > helping with marketing and public /media relations > helping distribute promotional posters, flyers, postcards, > getting sponsors and / or donors, > selling ads for our Nutcracker Playbill, Festival of Dances Program Book > helping organize the hospitality for our "An Evening of Ballet Series" performances, > helping with costume alterations or props construction, > helping backstage during the productions, > helping with the Front of House chores like ushering and selling program books and retail stuff, > chaperoning and assisting during outreach performances, > organizing a Springtime CYBT Yard Sale / Bake Sale, > ... and the list is almost endless! All parents of company members are asked to be part of the CYBT Volunteers Guild. This is a great way for parents to contribute to the growth and success of CYBT. Please fill out the Volunteer Information Sheet included in your CYBT registration packet. Parents / Volunteers who actively participate also have a heightened appreciation and understanding of why CYBT members are so committed to dancing! If you can give some of our time, please contact our CYBT Volunteer Guild Coordinator, Mrs. Marie Keegan, at (843) 421- 9258 and she can explain and direct you to the different needs of our productions. |
